2. The first and primary gameplay mechanic will be a 3rd person RPG. This helps with exploration and viewing the environment from an angle. Also rotation of the camera will be added so you can pan 360 degrees around your character to view the environment more flexibly. This type of gameplay relates to the exploration side of the gameplay, where you can experience it as if you were actually there.
The second gameplay mechanic that will be added is the fighting side of the game. Obviously in a post apocalyptic alternate future everyone is basically scavengers, raiders, or other dangerous rogues. In the wilderness you can trust no one. So finding weapons and using them against hostiles is a recommended if you are to survive in this world.
The third gameplay mechanic will play a major role in the game and that is interaction with non playable characters (NPC’s). Not everyone in the world are evil doers. There are other civilisations that are beginning to grow from the ashes of the nuclear war. Some town folk gladly accept people into their homes while others need trust before they allow anyone in. Interactions with NPC’s are a crucial mechanic in the game so you will not always feel lonely.
3. The first primary mission will be at the start of the game. It will explain the reason why you are leaving your home town and becoming a nomad. You hear news that a war has broken out east of your town. Usually this is a normal thing but these two factions are fighting over something big and everyone wants to know. This also gives your character an excuse to explore the foreign lands.
The second mission will be that you find your brother and best friend are being attacked by wild mutated, radiated animals not far from your town as you have just begun leaving. This mission introduces you to the fighting gameplay side of the game where you fend off the radiated beasts and save your brother and best friend. They also join on your journey afterwards.
Your third mission will be to interact with a NPC who heard about the break out of this Great War in a town to the North of your home town. This is using the interactive gameplay idea.
After you talk to the man who heard about the rumours of the Great War he forgets exactly where the war is happening. He slightly remembers three different areas where the war could possibly be happening in. This opens up the opportunity of the exploration gameplay mechanic and seeing all the scenery of the world after the nuclear war.
The latest mission incorporated with the game is an interesting gameplay mechanic added. This mission is revealed when you begin your journey into a deeper path. You will have to choose sides, you can choose to join one or the other faction. You can also decide to go solo and join either sides or try and create a peace between both factions and so on. There will be many paths to choose before you go deep into the game.
